BASED ON THE CONTESSA, THE CAR HAS BEEN GIVEN A CLASSIC 60S HOT-ROD STYLING WITH THE FLAME PAINT JOB

These life-size creations were present at this year's Auto Expo but Hot Wheels decided to give us the models for a closer look. Both these cars are running creations that depict the prevalent custom styles of retro and modern eras. We were however hooked to the fiery flames, chrome wheels and the vintage visage that one of these cars presented.

This particular car is based on the Contessa Classic by Hindustan Motors. A car that was highly sought after for bearing a close look to an American muscle car. The car has been given a classic 60s hot-rod styling complete with the flame paint job that was all the rage back in the day. Hot Wheels' collection includes a '70 Chevy Camaro that seems to be the inspiration behind this build. Chromed retro mirrors compliment the exterior with the amber windows to match the paint scheme while the multi-spoke wheels offer the look of wire wheels. Inside, leather adorns the seats and the dashboard while true to the 60s styling, a chain steering wheel and a skull gear shifter complete the look. The eye catching design and retro styling definitely attracted attention and reminisces childhood memories.

The other car is a more modern depiction of a street racer. Massive front and rear splitters take away most of the attention and seem a bit over the top. A matte paint job and brand graphics hide a seventh generation Honda Accord underneath. Twin tail pipes, of which one is a dummy, lets out a loud exhaust note.

Sadly, these show cars, as the name suggests, will never be up for sale but one can surely buy their mini versions from Hot Wheels' collection of model cars. Now, if only these cars were available for grown-ups to play with.
