Ultimate Altima breaks cover

Also seen at the show for the first time was the sixth-generation of the Altima. Nissan’s take on a Toyota Camry-sized sedan, the new Altima’s biggest selling points are razor sharp styling, all-wheel drive and an innovative engine. Powering the Altima will continue to be a 2.5-litre petrol with the new 2-litre turbocharged engine with variable compression, on the sportier variants. The new engine solves the dilemma of fuel efficiency versus power, by offering both in a single package, achieved through varying the compression ratio depending on the situation. The cabin boasts of space, lots of standard features and active driver assist tech in the form of Nissan’s ProPilot Assist package.
