Suzuki’s new Preda­tor

TAK­ING A cue from the pop­u­lar­ity of the GSX-S1000, Ja­panese man­u­fac­turer Suzuki Mo­tor­cy­cle In­dia, a sub­sidiary of Suzuki Mo­tor Cor­po­ra­tion launched their first sub-1000cc bike—the new Apex Preda­tor GSX-S750. Pow­ered by the heart of the su­pers­port GSX-R from 2005, the new mo­tor- cy­cle has a 749cc four-cylin­der fuel-in­jec­tion en­gine that pro­duces 112.6bhp@10, 500rpm and 81Nm@9,000rpm. In ad­di­tion, the GSXS750 of­fers a three-mode trac­tion con­trol sys­tem; one for sport rid­ing, mode two for typ­i­cal road con­di­tions and mode three of­fers max­i­mum trac­tion con­trol for poor rid- ing con­di­tions. It also has an Anti-lock Brake Sys­tem (ABS) by NISSIN to pro­vide the rider with added safety. It’ll be avail­able in two dif­fer­ent colour vari­ants - Metal­lic Tri­ton Blue/Glass Sparkle Black and Glass Sparkle Black/Candy Dar­ing Red, and is priced at Rs 7,45,000 (ex-show­room, New Delhi).
