Suzuki’s new Predator
TAKING A cue from the popularity of the GSX-S1000, Japanese manufacturer Suzuki Motorcycle India, a subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation launched their first sub-1000cc bike—the new Apex Predator GSX-S750. Powered by the heart of the supersport GSX-R from 2005, the new motor- cycle has a 749cc four-cylinder fuel-injection engine that produces 112.6bhp@10, 500rpm and 81Nm@9,000rpm. In addition, the GSXS750 offers a three-mode traction control system; one for sport riding, mode two for typical road conditions and mode three offers maximum traction control for poor rid- ing conditions. It also has an Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) by NISSIN to provide the rider with added safety. It’ll be available in two different colour variants - Metallic Triton Blue/Glass Sparkle Black and Glass Sparkle Black/Candy Daring Red, and is priced at Rs 7,45,000 (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
