Jeep Renegade
The Renegade could easily be the volume spinner that Jeep have been looking for in the Indian market. It will be positioned below the Compass and will be a more affordable option than its sibling. This is possible only if Jeep manufacturers the Renegade in India instead of the CBU route. The Renegade is based on the same platform which underpins the Fiat 500X. The SUV comes with typical Jeep styling complete with round headlamps and the seven slat grille. Compact dimensions should give it go-anywhere capabilities. Under the hood, the SUV will reportedly get a 2.0 litre Multijet2 engine offering power in two tunes available with a choice of manual and autobox.
