Porsche Cayenne
Porsche has sold 770,000 Cayennes in the last 15 years since it was launched in 2002 and now India is getting ready to get the latest version. While the new generation Cayenne sits on a brand new platform, it remains unmistakably a Cayenne. Yet Porsche say that none of the panels on the new car match the ones seen on the outgoing model. Built on the MLB platform, there is increased usage of aluminium and as a result the overall weight has come down. A longitudinally mounted V8 engine is located just ahead of the front axle or one could also choose to opt for a V6. Porsche is also ready to give you a Cayenne S variant which is strapped with a 440bhp twin-turbo 2.9-liter V-6. This S variant is the peppier Cayenne and can sprint from zero to 100kmph in 4.9 seconds.
