Honda is gearing up to launch the 10th generation Civic in India later this year, after having a successive stint with the sedan. This comes after the fact that Honda prominently displayed the sedan at the Auto Expo in 2018. The new sedan sports a sweeping design lines which at best can be referred to being super sporty. We love the roofline which sweeps into the rear end and those large tail lamps give the Civic the hue of a proper sports sedan. Inside, the Civic facelift gets Honda’s updated seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. For the Indian market, Honda is expected to introduce the Civic facelift with a 1.8-litre, 140bhp petrol engine, along with the 1.6-litre Earth Dreams diesel engine, producing 120bhp and 300Nm of torque. We suspect the Civic to be priced between Rs 18 and 20 lakh and this means it will take on the likes of the Hyundai Elantra, Skoda Octavia, and Toyota Corolla Altis. There is also a Sport trim available, but we doubt that Honda will bring the variant to India.
