New Maruti Ciaz rolled out

THE LAUNCH of the up­graded Ciaz has been on the cards for a while and there­fore it isn’t sur­pris­ing that In­dian car­maker Maruti-Suzuki re­vealed the face-lifted ver­sion. Though Auto To­day has cov­ered the over­all ex­pe­ri­ence, drive and feel of the new sedan in our First Drive seg­ment this is­sue, here we point out the func­tional de­tails like vari­ants, prices and colour avail­abil­ity. To be­gin with the sedan will be sold through Maruti-Suzuki’s Nexa deal­er­ships, and will be avail­able in petrol, diesel and au­to­matic op­tions and with a new 1.5 litre K15 petrol en­gine. It will be avail­able in colour op­tions like Met Pre­mium Sil­ver (new), Met Magma Grey (new), Pearl Met Dig­nity Brown, Pearl Snow White, Pearl San­gria Red and Pearl Mid­night Black. You can choose be­tween four colour op­tions Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Al­pha, the start­ing price of the base model (Sigma) stands at Rs 8.19 lakh and the top most vari­ant Al­pha is avail­able at Rs 10.97 lakh (ex Ban­ga­lore).
