Mercedes C-Class facelift launch

THE MERCEDES-BENZ C-Class upgrade is up for a launch on 20th of this month. Changes include subtle cosmetic updates. There is a new front bumper, grille, which varies depending on the trim line selected and updated headlamps. This time around, there will be an option of selecting Multi-beam headlamps with 84 LEDs. The rear bumper has been revised and changes have been made to the tail light cluster’s LED detailing. The big talking point in the engine department is that Mercedes will launch the C200 variant with a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine that features a belt-driven starter generator (BSG) driven off a separate 48-volt electric system. Maximum power and torque figures stand at 184bhp and 280Nm. The Mercedes-AMG C43 will join the line-up later in the year.
