Ninja 300 now cheaper
KAWASAKI HAS made the Ninja 300 more affordable with the launch of the 2018 model. Increased localisation has helped bring the price down to Rs 2.98 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), a drop of over Rs 60,000. The motorcycle is available with dualchannel ABS as standard. A liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine generating 39bhp and 27Nm powers the bike. It pairs with a 6-speed transmission and features a slipper clutch as standard fitment. Customers get two colours choices – Lime Green/Ebony and Candy Plasma Blue. Amongst its competitors, the only one with a twin-cylinder engine is the Yamaha R3 priced at Rs 3.48 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), which the Ninja 300 comfortably undercuts. It is also rivals the BMW G 310 R, TVS Apache RR 310 and KTM RC390.
