If you intend driving offroad you should always have a basic emergency kit in the vehicle at all times. First off the block is the tow rope. Ensure you buy a good quality heavy duty nylon unit. Also ensure the shackles have a lock system. Shovels are handy when stuck in loose sand or snow. Always buy one with a long handle for better reach. Jerry cans are best in metal.
