TAK­ING FOR­WARD the cause of sus­tain­able trans­porta­tion, Tata Motors will show­case five of their new pub­lic trans­port ve­hi­cles at the Bus World In­dia 2018. The new range will in­clude the Star­bus Ul­tra AC 22-seater push back, Star­bus 12-seater AC maxi cab, Winger 12-seater, Tata 1515 MCV staff bus and the Magna in­ter­city coach. The Magna s avail­able i in two pow­er­trains, 180bhp and the tobe launched 230bhp. The new coach has a seat­ing ca­pac­ity that ranges be­tween 35-44 and a boot space of 7.5 cu­bic me­ter. It is backed by com­po­nents like Cum­mins ISBe 5.9 en­gine, Tata G750 gear­box, Voith Re­tarder and Mar­copolo bus body. The Star­bus Ul­tra, on the other hand is tar­geted to­wards staffers and the tourist seg­ment. It of­fers fea­tures that in­clude in­di­vid­ual charg­ing points, hand rest on all seats, push back leather seats, power steer­ing and air brakes to name a few.
