These special editions with limited runs are meant for the discerning few. That BMW is getting these models to India is heartening and I hope whatever the allocation for the country is finally will readily be chewed up. The CS editions cut a very fine line between having a true-blue track machine and one that not only is street legal but is also driveable on the road, with a few features and utilities taken away, including standard door trims being replaced by lightweight carbon-fibre reinforced panels with loops for handles. It also provides track pedigree for someone who wants a high performance sports car with more to the edge handling.
