BMW 8-series Cabriolet

The 8-series Coupe will soon be followed by a convertible and will be like a big brother to the Z4. Maybe BMW should name it the Z8? It is still under testing and is expected to make its debut either at the Paris Motor Show later on in the year or at the Geneva Motor Show next year. Like the 8-series car, the cabriolet will be a 2-door with a retractable canvas roof that will neatly fold under the boot-lid. Boot-space will be compromised but it is not as small a boot as one has seen in some of the recent convertibles and the smaller cars. Expect it to get to India only by the end of 2019 or early 2020.
