Nissan Kicks

NissaN urgeNTly needs a super seller in India and that vehicle could be the Kicks. The Kicks comes with rather quirky styling complete with flared wheel arches and protruding bumpers. The car is expected to be based on the same BO Platform which underpins the Renault Duster as well. This will give the company the advantage of pricing the Kicks competitively. For India we expect Nissan to load the Kicks with the tried and tested 1.5 dCi diesel engine and offer it in the 110bhp state of tune. However, a more efficient variant cannot be ruled out completely. Both manual and automatic versions will be launched. Considering petrol SUVs are the rage, we expect a 1.6-litre petrol variant as well. The Kicks will be offered with only FWD in India and a AWD variant may follow later. Expect the Kicks to be launched this festive season and priced between the Rs 10 to 12 lakh mark.
