Summarising the test, TVS’ new 160 4V is a definite improvement over the older 160. It comes loaded with features from the RTR 200 along with its looks, engine and handling characteristics. It also offers the best warranty and comes at under a lakh rupees making it great value for money. Although, new riders might be overwhelmed with its sharp responses; in which case they will find the Suzuki better. The Gixxer SF is friendly yet quick, responsive and extremely easy to ride fast. The Yamaha is the bomb though. The R15 V3 is loaded to the gills, is the quickest and the best handling of the lot. It balances track sportiness and real world agility extremely well. If you don’t mind the slight discomfort it can amount to as a daily rider, there’s simply no reason to look any further for an affordable track weapon to learn the art of racing on.
