Hyundai Santro name to return?

Auto Today - - Update! -

WE’VE BEEN talking about the upcoming small car from Hyundai forever now. But come October 9, we will get the first glimpse of what reports suggest will be the new Santro, making a comeback in an all new avatar after 4 years. The AH2 hatchback from Hyundai will take on the likes of Maruti Suzuki Alto K10, Renault Kwid, Tata Tiago and Maruti Suzuki Celerio, as the prices will be announced on October 23, 2018.

We are quite excited with the fact that Hyundai is bringing its original tall boy back to the Indian market, as it was the product that gave the South Korean carmaker its breakthrough in the country way back in 1998. Now talking about the car itself, the Santro will slot below the Grand i10, and will officially replace the Eon in India. The company revealed the sketch of the AH2 hatchback some time back, which revealed a sharp looking compact car with the same tall boy stance.
