Intermot

Two-wheelers take centre stage

-

If you are a fan of all things twowheeled, then Intermot is one fair which you must be waiting for. Atleast we do! So this year, the show was all about more tech laden bikes. Each and every manufacturer came in with more technology and it seemed as if TFT LCD screens and LED lighting technology has become the most common addition to motorcycles. Thanks to their infinitely tunable programs, TFT screens are finding space on high performance motorcycles as well as cheap and cheerful electric scooters. LED technology has also come of age and thanks to them absorbing less power, electric vehicles are moving towards it rapidly.

If we had to select one bike from the show which blew us apart, it had to be the Suzuki Katana. The bike features ravishing good looks and most importantly, it features an unmistakable Katana design. As mentioned above, most tweaks come i n form of modern equipment and i nspite of looking like the old one, it is far more aerodynamic. Can’t wait to get astride this litre class monster! Speaking of monsters, Kawasaki has brought in more powerful versions of the H2. But Kawasaki in all honesty also took care of the other end of the spectrum by re-entering the 125cc bandwagon with the fully-faired Ninja 125 and naked Z125. Last but not the least, there were a variety of activities happening on the sidelines. Starting from stunt shows to creating masterpieces of art. From custom helmets to custom bicycles, the 2018 edition of Intermot had all.
