Aspire gets a new face

THE FORD Aspire facelift was launched in India at a starting price of Rs 5.55 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Available in both petrol and diesel options, the Aspire is offered in a total of five variants - Ambiente, Trend, Trend+, Titanium, and Titanium+. Apart from subtle cosmetic update, the major change is under the hood, as the Aspire now comes in two new petrol engines from the Dragon series and one diesel. The 1.2-litre petrol engine makes 95bhp and 120Nm, while the 1.5litre engine churns out 123bhp and 150Nm of torque. The Aspire is offered in 5-speed manual gearbox a 6-speed torque converter.
