MAN readies its electric bus line

MAN BUS is looking to include manufacturing electric buses within the Starachowice Special Economic Zone. The capital expenditure related to accommodating electric-powered bus production is estimated at around $3.2 million. Completion of the works is planned for the end of 2021. The expansion of the plant lays the foundation for MAN to branch out into zero-emissions vehicles in the near future, with series production scheduled to begin in 2020. It claims to have rolled out 1,724 buses this year.
