Ducati shows off a stunner at EICMA
The Panigale V4 R has become even more mental than before. The bike will be next seen as Ducati’s contender in next year’s WSBK championship. The race-spec V4 R churns out 221bhp thus making it the second most powerful production motorcycle after the Kawasaki Ninja H2. Add on the optional Akrapovic exhaust and power is boosted to 234bhp. Ducati has also worked hard to reduce the weight of the bike and have achieved it by using light weight materials. The V4 R weighs just 193kg, which is 5kg lighter than the standard bike. The Ducati Panigale V4 R is also the first production Ducati motorcycle to come fitted with winglets as seen on its MotoGP machines. According to the Italian brand, the wings produce 30kg of downforce at 270kmph.
