Force reveals next gen platform

-

The biggest attraction in the CV segment has to be the reveal of next generation of shared mobility platform by Pune-based Force Motors. The catch with the new platform is that it’s scalable for both internal combustion engine vehicles and electric vehicles. Called the Force T1N, it is built on the next generation of monocoque panel van platform that ensures crash and rollover safety, independent front suspension with transverse parabolic springs for better ride quality. Safety is taken care by the all wheel disc brakes and ABS, EBD, ETDC and ESP. Force is also offering the T1N with a cockpit that has carlike steering wheel with tilt and telescopic adjustable steering column.

Force says the styling and body design of the T1N electric van is up to the standards of markets such as Middle East, Africa, ASEAN and South America where the T1N is expected to be an excellent value proposition as a high premium product. The LED DRLs are a first in the class, and so are the projector lamps and the tail lamps with light guide technology. Force says the platform has been designed with a 2-box construction that keeps the engine outside to ensure low NVH level. The T1N will come in three options- a BS VI compliant, Common Rail Diesel engine, offering peak torque of 350Nm, a BS VI CNG variant along with the electric version. At present, the new platform is undergoing final validation and homologation processes, after which the T1N will be built at a new state of the art facility in Pithampur, Indore with body shop with robotic and laser welding facilities. It is expected to be available for sale by the end of the year.
