Okinawa’s prototype maxiscooter-Cruiser, features a 4kWH lithium-ion, detachable battery which ensures charging convenience to the users. The scooter comes with a high-speed charger that offers a charging time of 2-3 hours, which is one of it’s unique features. The scooter has a claimed top speed of 100kmph and is capable of running for over 120km on a single charge. On paper the Okinawa seems to be the most revolutionary scooter electric scooter going on sale in India and is expected to be priced around Rs 1 lakh. There are speculations however that the Okinawa cruiser is in fact a Chinese scooter called the Luyan.
