OlecTra c9 elecTric buS

Taking the wraps off its first ever electric bus was Olectra as it showcased the all new C9 electric inter-city coach. A result of a joint venture between Olectra and BYD, the new C9 is a 12m long zero-emission 45 to 49- seater electric bus that is designed for longer travel distances. Olectra offers TV & infotainment system, along with Wi-Fi and inbuilt USB chargers for each seat. The electric bus is powered by Lithium iron phosphate battery with 482bhp and 3,000Nm that allows for a range of 300km on a single charge. The C9 can attain a top speed of 100kmph. In terms of safety, the C9 is equipped with Driver Fatigue System and and Panic Alarm System.
