When Honda launched the allnew Amaze in 2018, it reaffirmed not only their commitment to the burgeoning compact segment but also to making cars that stood out as a cutabove. The Honda Amaze is equipped with a BS6compliant 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine that delivers 90 PS and 110 Nm of torque. It is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox, with an option for a CVT. The other motor is a BS6-compliant 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel unit that generates 100 PS and 200 Nm of torque with 5-speed manual gearbox and 80 PS and 160 Nm of torque with CVT. Honda has applied its advanced exhaust gas after-treatment system with NSC
(NOx Storage Catalyst) and DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) to meet the challenging target of particulate matter (PM) and nitrogen oxide (NOx) emission in case of diesel engines. Honda’s original Silver Thin Coated DPF (STCDPF) enables reduction of PM combustion time by 40%. On the inside, the beige on black theme gives Amaze a distinctive yet stylish appeal, with plenty of convenient storage for all your knick-knacks; the CVT gearbox gets first in class paddle shifter that promises an engaging driving experience. Safety is key with dual SRS airbags as standard. Despite its compact dimension, the smart design has ensured that the Amaze feels very spacious on the inside. The boot too has more than enough space to comfortably fit enough luggage for a family weekend getaway!
