BMW Group India pledged Rs 3 crore in the ongoing battle against COVID-19 pandemic. Associations with government and non-government organisations have been initiated for on-ground implementation in Delhi-NCR and Chennai. Employees of BMW Group India, BMW Group Plant Chennai and BMW India Financial Services voluntarily contributed towards the cause. Additionally, Hyundai India has also rolled out a slew of initiatives including -contribution of Rs 7 crore to PM CARES Relief Fund, contribution of Rs 5 crore to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Relief Fund, handover of imported COVID-19 Advanced Diagnostic Test Kits worth Rs 4 crore to ICMR and a strategic partnership with Air Liquide Medical Systems to augment production and supply of ventilators.
