-

TRIUMPH MOTORCYCLES India launched the new Street Triple RS from a starting price of Rs 11.13 lakh (ex-showroom, India), which is identical to the outgoing model. The 2020 Street Triple RS is not only more powerful than its predecessor, but is also better in terms of technology and power delivery. The British two-wheeler company has even updated Triumph Street Triple RS with a plethora of new features to make it a formidable contender in the middleweight sports category. The motorcycle looks more aggressive now and sports new twin LED headlights with DRLs, whereas the main frame has been finished in titanium silver. The bodywork is totally new, and gets a refurbished exhaust system, with a carbon-fibre end cap complete with Triumph branding. The mirrors, handlebar clamp, fly screen side panels, seat cowl and belly pan are among some of the new bells and whistles added to this street naked. Power comes from a BSVI compliant, liquid-cooled, 12-valve, DOHC, in-line 3-cylinder, 765cc engine that develops 123bhp and 79Nm of torque. Triumph claims that the power and torque numbers are now nine per cent higher in the mid-range. The motor is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
