Renault pulls plug on Captur

RENAULT INDIA has discontinued the Captur SUV in India, as the company’s website no longer lists this model. Presently, Renault has the Kwid, the Triber and the Duster as the flagship model. The move comes in effect with the new BS6 norms that kicked in this year. However, the company has not announced the BS6 version to the Captur. In India, Renault had earlier discontinued the diesel version when stricter BS 6 norms were introduced. The 1.5-litre diesel engine used to produce 110bhp and 240Nm.
