Tucson gets a major facelift

AFTER GETTING a glimpse at the Auto Expo 2020, Hyundai Motor India finally launched the most anticipate­d Hyundai Tucson facelift in the market at Rs 22.30 lakh (exshowroom, India). The South Korean automaker has given a stylish makeover to the Tucson, be it on the outside or the inside. Even the powertrain­s of the new Hyundai Tucson facelift have been updated to meet the new emission norms. Powering the Tucson is a BS6-compliant 2.0-litre petrol engine that delivers 150bhp and 192Nm, mated to a 6-speed AT. There is also a BS6-compliant 2.0-litre diesel motor that produces 182bhp and 400Nm coupled with 8-speed AT unit. The front fascia has been updated and looks quite modern now, with the signature cascading chrome grille flanked by projector LED headlamps and LED DRLs. The rear has new LED tail lamps and twin chrome exhaust, along with a fresh set of 18-inch diamond-cut alloy

wheels.
