Mountain Madness

-

We decided to explore the Himalayas, starting from Leh in Ladakh and finishing in Bhutan after taking a sighting of the third highest mountain in the world from Sikkim, with the Hyundai Creta

After the paperwork and permits, we drove to Paro and then to Thimphu. Despite some challenging roads in the east, these were not a problem for the diesel Creta with the 6-speed automatic gearbox. The SUV had already conquered much more challenging terrain in Ladakh after we started the drive from Leh.

As this was already the start of winters, the passes out of Ladakh were snowed over and though it was challenging for 2-wheel drive vehicles, the Creta managed to make it out without much problem.
