Honda Jazz’ed up with BS6 upgrade

HONDA CARS INDIA launched the Jazz facelift at a starting price of Rs 7.50 lakh and going up to Rs 9.74 lakh (all prices ex-showroom, India), with several exterior & interior updates, BS6-compliant engine and a new top-spec ZX variant. Power comes from a BS6-compliant, 1.2-litre, i-VTEC petrol engine that develops 90bhp and 110Nm, coupled with a 5-speed manual and 7-speed CVT unit. The Jazz comes with fresh high gloss black grille flanked by LED headlamps with DRLs, new LED fog lamps and LED lighting at the rear. The front & rear bumpers have been redesigned. Features include auto AC with touch control panel, multiinfor­mation combimeter with LCD and multi-function steering wheel. The CVT variants get paddle shifters. The 7-inch touchscree­n with the Digipad 2.0 infotainme­nt system is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Jazz also boasts of cruise control and a segment first one-touch electric sunroof.
