RENAULT INDIA launched the turbocharged petrol version of the Duster at Rs 10.49 lakh (ex showroom, India) going up to Rs 13.59 lakh (ex showroom, India). With this launch, the Renault Duster 1.3-litre turbo petrol becomes the most powerful product on offer, along with the Nissan Kicks which gets the same engine, as it takes on the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and Maruti
Suzuki S-Cross. The Duster comes with a 1.3-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine which is tuned to produce 153bhp and 254Nm, coupled with a 6-speed manual gearbox, along with an optional CVT. The company will also continue the sale of the BS6 compliant 1.5-litre petrol engine, which produces 104bhp and 142Nm. The Renault Duster 1.3 turbo petrol is being offered in three manual trims and two CVT trims. The cabin largely remains the same as the facelift introduced last year. Features include fabric seat upholstery, 8-inch touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, a fully automatic climate control, and cooled glovebox. Safety is taken care by ABS with EBD, driver & passenger airbags, rear parking sensors, seat belt reminder & speed alert.
