Hyundai Creta achieves five lakh sales milestone

HYUNDAI MOTOR INDIA announced the Creta has touched five lakh sales milestone in the domestic market. Hyundai Creta has been amongst the most popular vehicles in India ever since its launch here in July 2015. Now in its second-generation, which was introduced in March 2020, the SUV has topped UV sales charts for three consecutive months of May 2020, June 2020 and July 2020. As many as 3,212 units of the new Hyundai Creta were sold in India in May 2020. The sales figures jumped to 7,207 units in June 2020 and 11,549 units in July 2020. Also, the second-generation Hyundai Creta has garnered more than 65,000 bookings since the same commenced in March 2020. Hyundai claims the diesel variants contribute as high as 60 per cent in the overall bookings of the new Hyundai Creta.
