2021 Kia Stinger gets more powerful

THE UPDATED Kia Stinger has been revealed in full detail for the first time, with the high-performance fastback sports sedan boasting a range of upgrades. In addition to its refreshed design, the enhanced Kia Stinger is also now offered with a powerful new turbocharged petrol engine. The upgraded Stinger offers a range of three turbocharged petrol engines, including the new ‘Smartstream’ 2.5-litre T-GDi engine producing 304bhp and 422Nm. The most powerful engine is a twin-turbo 3.3-litre T-GDi V6 from Kia’s ‘Lambda’ engine family churning out 373bhp and 510Nm. The 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder ‘Theta’ engine produces 255bhp and 353Nm. All three engines are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
