FMSCI announces INRC 2021 calendar

-

AFTER A shortened season, the Champion Yacht Club FMSCI Indian National Rally Championship 2021 will be back over six grueling rounds scheduled across the country from this month. The upcoming edition of the INRC 2021 will start from Chennai on April 23-25 and culminate in the picturesque North-East state of Nagaland on November 12-14, 2021. Incidentally, Nagaland will not only host its first-ever INRC round but also become the first North-East state to host the finale of INRC. The organizers hope to finish all six rounds this year, after the 2020 edition was cut short to only three rounds due to the ongoing pandemic.

After round 1, the championship will move to Bengaluru on May 18-20, followed by Coimbatore leg on July 17-18, Delhi-NCR on August 27-28, and Hampi outing on October 1-3. Apart from Nagaland, the promoters have accorded the hosting rights to Delhi-NCR and Hampi for the first time as well. The Chennai round will be organized by Madras Motor Sports Club, while Bengaluru will see Karnataka Motor Sports Club execute the event. Coimbatore Auto Sports Club will be responsible for the Coimbatore round and BND Motor Sports will organize the Delhi-NCR round at the Buddh International Circuit. Motor Sports Academy of Vijayanagar will carry out the operations in Hampi, whereas, Nagaland Adventure and Motor Sports Association will operate the final leg at Nagaland. To make things exciting and competitive, the 2021 edition will also see the SUV class added to the mix.
