Mercedes drives in its baby SUV

MERCEDES-BENZ INDIA launched the new GLA, and its high-performance AMG variant in the country. Available in GLA 200, GLA 220d, GLA 220d 4MATIC, and AMG GLA 35 4MATIC, the prices stand at Rs 42.1 lakh, Rs 43.7 lakh, Rs 46.7 lakh, and 57.3 lakh respectively (all prices ex-showroom,

India). The new GLA is the smallest SUV model from the brand and borrows the underpinnings from the A-Class Limousine. The AMG GLA 35 4MATIC will be the third AMG model to be assembled here after the GLC 43 AMG and the A 35 AMG. Both base petrol and diesel versions will be available with the “Progressive Line” package, while the 220d 4MATIC will be offered in the sportier AMG Line. The AMG GLA 35 4MATIC will don a sportier Panamericana grille and many other touches to differentiate it. In addition, it will also be available in the new Patagonia Red exterior color.
