Gujarat CM flags off 50 JBM electric AC buses

GUJARAT CHIEF MINISTER Vijay Rupani flagged off the first batch of 50 Eco-Life electric buses out of a total of 180 buses that JBM Auto committed to supply to Ahmadabad city. The service was rolled out under the BRTS scheme by Ahmadabad Janmarg, a 100 per cent subsidiary of Ahmadabad Municipal Corporation. The EcoLife electric buses are powered by fastcharging lithium-ion batteries and can run up to 250km per day. To support the fleet, JBM commissioned a state-of-the-art end to end e-mobility ecosystem at the Vastral Depot, which includes the buses, charging infrastructure, power infrastructure and maintenance as a complete solution.
