London residents can now book an Ola EV

OLA LAUNCHED a new category on its ride-hailing platform in London that will allow the customers to book electric vehicles.

The Ola EV, which has 700 drivers across the British capital, will cost the same as the Ola comfort class. Ola claims that to incentivize drivers to use the new category, it will offer a 0 per cent commission rate for the first three months for all the electric rides. The company is also planning to extend offers through partnerships to provide easy and affordable options for drivers and customers to shift to electric vehicles. According to Ola, the approach will help to significantly increase the number of fully electric private hire vehicles in use.
