-

EXPANDING ITS electric range is MercedesBenz as it introduced the pre-production EQT concept ahead of its debut next year. The EQT will be introduced in the company’s van portfolio, and will be the latest addition to the company’s EQ range, which has EQC, EQA, and the recently revealed EQS.

The near-series-production concept combines ample space for up to seven occupants, a generous luggage compartment with Mercedes-typical design, connectivity and safety. The concept features a characteristic black front panel with LED front headlights, different-sized stars with a 3D effect, 21-inch light-alloy wheels with a high-sheen finish, panoramic roof and electric long board in the rear. There is also a light strip which connects the LED headlamps with the LED rear lamps.

The concept is 4,945mm long, 1,863mm wide, and 1,826mm tall and features sliding doors on both sides with a large opening so that both full-sized individual seats in the third row can be reached without difficulty. The third-row seats can be folded or removed completely, leaving sufficient space for leisure equipments.
