TRIUMPH LAUNCHED a limited edition of the Street Scrambler called the Sandstorm edition, and a Steve McQueen Edition to the Scrambler 1200 at Rs 9.65 lakh and Rs 13.75 lakh respectively (all prices ex-showroom, India). Limited to only 775 units, the Sandstorm builds on the Scrambler’s desert heritage with a custom paint scheme and some off-road accessories as standard. While it is mechanically identical to the Street Scrambler, the Sandstorm’s custom paint scheme incorporates Matt Storm Grey and Ironstone accents on the tank in a unique new tri-tone style, plus a Matt Storm Grey factory-fitted high-level front mudguard.
The Scrambler 1200 Steve McQueen Edition on the other hand is limited to only 1,000 units, with each bike individually numbered on the billet-machined handlebar clamp, which also features a laser-etched Steve McQueen signature. Each bike comes with a unique certificate of authenticity stating the bike’s VIN number, and carrying the signatures of Triumph’s CEO, Nick Bloor, and also Chad McQueen, son of the legend himself, Steve McQueen.
It also features a premium brown bench seat, with stitched ribbing and Triumph branding, which further enhances the overall classic style and elegance.
