Diavel 1260 is now BS6-compliant
DUCATI LAUNCHED the new BS6-compliant Diavel 1260 and 1260 S at Rs 18.49 lakh and Rs. 21.49 lakh respectively. The Diavel 1260 BS6 is now heavier by 5kg and tips the scale at 249kg kerb, while the Ducati Diavel 1260 S is 2kg lighter than the standard model. The 1262cc Ducati Testastretta DVT engine makes 3bhp more than the predecessor putting out 162bhp @9,500rpm and 129Nm @7,500rpm. The gearbox is a 6-speed unit with a two-way quick shifter offered as standard fitment. In terms of suspension, the 1260 mounts fully adjustable 50mm forks. Damping compression and spring preload adjustment are on the left fork tube, while rebound adjustment is located on the right tube. At the rear, it mounts a mono shock with adjustable spring-pre load and damping rebound. The 1260 S is equipped with a fully adjustable Öhlins 48mm fork and a fully adjustable Öhlins shock absorber. Both the bikes provide the riders with improved and upgraded riding modes.
