Tackling different wet situations

Water level above the tyre Don’t attempt to cross. Stop driving as the force of the water is greater than the weight of your vehicle.

Water level below the tyre Shift into first gear and gently step on the accelerator to increase the engine revs to avoid blockage of the exhaust by water. In case you need to reduce the speed, use the clutch but don’t step on the brakes. After crossing the flooded area, continue to accelerate in order to blow the exhaust clean.

Vehicle is submerged in water Do not start the vehicle as it can cause severe damage to the engine. Get the vehicle inspected by an expert to check for damages to major components.
