THE TEXAS-BASED hypercar manufacturer and high-performance vehicle builder, Hennessey Performance Engineering (HPE), started production of the world’s most powerful pickup truck, the Hennessey Mammoth 1000 TRX with its upgraded 6.2-litre supercharged Hellcat V8 producing 1,012bhp. Based on the 702bhp Dodge Ram 1500 TRX pickup truck, the Mammoth 1000 TRX can do the 0-100kmph time in just 3.2 seconds, making it the quickest in the world, while torque grows to 1,313Nm, and can achieve an 11.4-second quarter mile at over 193kmph. Measuring 5,810mm long, 2,090mm wide and 1,970mm high, the hypertruck is capable of carrying six adults in comfort, carrying a payload exceeding 1,043kg and towing more than 3,492kg, making it the most capable performance truck on the market. Moreover, only 200 units of the Mammoth will be produced for customers across the US and around the world.
