Tata Tiago updated with new NRG
TATA MOTORS updated its Tiago NRG edition with a facelift, and will now retail at Rs 6.57 lakh and Rs 7.09 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The facelift sports a body kit, redesigned wheel and of course NRG badging, while the interior largely remains the same.
The only addition here is the introduction of button start with this particular edition. The fully loaded Tiago NRG receives a 7-inch display, height adjustment for the driver’s seat, adjustable headrests and manual AC control. The only engine on offer will be the 1.2litre 3-cylinder petrol engine producing 84bhp and 114Nm, paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT.
FORD INDIA introduced an automatic variant for the Figo, at Rs 7.75 lakh for the Titanium variant and Rs 8.20 lakh (both prices, exshowroom, India) for the Titanium+ variant, and will be available exclusively with the petrol unit. Under the hood, the Figo automatic is powered by a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine that produces 95bhp and 119Nm, paired to a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The company also offers the Figo with a diesel engine, with the 5-speed manual unit being the sole transmission offering.
Among the notable features are automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, new 15-inch alloy wheels, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic AC, electrochromic IRVM, 6-airbags (front, side and curtain), traction control, electronic stability control and hill launch assist. With the FordPass connectivity technology, the owners can perform a host of tasks, including remotely starting/stopping and locking/unlocking the hatchback. The hatch is being offered in - Diamond White, Ruby Red, Moondust Silver, Smoke Grey and White Gold, while the interior gets a Charcoal Black theme.
