Honda Amaze receives cosmetic updates

OFFERING A mid-cycle facelift to the Amaze, Honda launched an updated version at a starting price of Rs 6.32 lakh. The facelift is introduced with a host of exterior and interior updates such as a new front grille flanked by LED projector headlamps with integrated LED DRLs. The redesigned front bumper houses the new LED fog lamps. At the rear, there are new c-shaped LED combinatio­n lamps. The rear bumper has been redone as well. It also features new chrome door handles with a touch sensor-based entry and a fresh set of 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. There are five exterior color options- Golden Brown Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Radiant Red

Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic and newly-introduced Meteoroid Grey. The cabin also gets a revamp with a new 7-inch Digipad 2.0 touchscree­n infotainme­nt system compatible with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Weblink, as well as a new multi-view rear camera. The seat upholstery has a new stitching pattern. Among the other prominent features are paddle shifters, automatic climate control, one-push start/stop button and cruise control. Offered in three variants - E, S and VX, the facelift retains the 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol and 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engine options. The petrol unit delivers 90bhp and 110Nm, paired with either a 5-speed manual or a CVT unit. The diesel mill churns out 100bhp and 200Nm with a 5-speed MT, and 80bhp and 160Nm with a CVT automatic.
