Banking Frontiers

Chief Transformation Officer

-

Many experts have rightly said that in the current times, the Chief Transformation Office in their organization is the covid virus. Covid has led to massive jump in digital transformation. Organizations that were slow and cautious in adoption, have had to ramp up rapidly, but would have been hampered by the lack of experience. Those that were ahead in the race had the full advantage of experience to accelerate further. The urgent and easier part of the transformation was in the customer facing s y s t e ms, where most of the work comprised adding new functionality and enhancing the user experience i n terms of speed, data entry, verification, etc.

The important yet tougher part will be in the back end where systems have to scale up, controls have to become more robust, integration has to become stronger, data management has to scale up and many more activities have to be automated. To help BFSI organizations achieve these objectives, Banking Frontiers is organizing a series of panel discussions with COOs and Operations Heads to look at recent achievements and lay a roadmap for the coming year. Blue Prism is our knowledge partner for this series. We are posting these videos on channel www.bankingfrontiers.live for all to witness.

One part of business that has seen the biggest jolt is collections. The pandemic and regulatory guidelines have disrupted collections like never before. Lenders have had to find ways and means to enhance collections using all kinds of means – manual and automated – to keep cash circulating and to keep business afloat. With our knowledge partner Speridian, we have started another series of panel discussions on this issue, and you will find videos on the same website www.bankingfrontiers.live

Data is said to be the new oil. Just as converting oil to energy is quite a task requiring ideas, innovations and expertise, so is converting data to profits. For enlightening the BFSI sector on this and adapting to the post-covid scenario, Google is our knowledge partner for a series of panel discussions. See the videos on www.bankingfrontiers.live

There are many more areas that we are looking at to discover, demystify and disseminate information for the benefit of the BFSI community. If you have any specific areas you wish to recommend, I will be happy to hear from you. Banking Frontiers is always happy to lend a helping hand in the transformation journey of your organization and the industry.
