Ajay Srinivasan steps down as CEO of Aditya Birla Capital

Ajay Srinivasan has stepped down as Managing Director and CEO of Aditya Birla Capital. Announcing his exit, the company said his resignation has nothing to do with an investigation into alleged irregularities and corruption in the company levelled by a whistle blower. ICICI Bank’s Executive Director Vishakha Mulye has been appointed in Ajay’s place. A company spokesperson said Ajay had expressed his desire to take on a new role within the group after having served as CEO for over 14 years and a new role is being crafted at the Group level for him.
