New HR frame­work planned by Bank of In­dia

Bank of In­dia has no­ti­fied the re­quire­ment of a con­sul­tant for the im­ple­men­ta­tion of an in­te­grated HR frame­work in the bank. The se­lected con­sul­tant would ad­vise the bank in defin­ing the re­quire­ments of the frame­work, and for­mu­la­tion and im­ple­ment­ing of the frame­work and for car­ry­ing out of var­i­ous new HR ini­tia­tives re­quired to be un­der­taken for im­ple­men­ta­tion of the said frame­work over a pe­riod of 18 months. Some of the broad ob­jec­tives iden­ti­fied by the bank for HR in­ter­ven­tion, as it em­barks on its jour­ney to be­come the most ad­mired bank in the coun­try are (i) to ini­ti­ate and in­sti­tu­tion­al­ize a trans­par­ent and cred­i­ble tech­nol­ogy driven per­for­mance man­age­ment pol­icy, process and prac­tice; (ii) to shape the prac­tices of lead­er­ship po­ten­tial as­sess­ment and lead­er­ship de­vel­op­ment; (iii) to iden­tify and de­velop a lead­er­ship pool for mid­dle and se­nior man­age­ment cadre to help it in suc­ces­sion plan­ning at top man­age­ment level and to de­velop a com­pre­hen­sive knowl­edge, skill and be­hav­ior de­vel­op­ment and its de­liv­ery.
