Union Bank to undertake business transformation
Union Bank of India is looking for a management consultant to help it undertake a major business transformation project to strengthen its business by proactive outreach to customers, developing relationship-banking concept, effective credit delivery structure and developing a profit focused business approach to improve profitability. The bank has already implemented similar transformation processes in the past in fields such as in brand building, branch model, shift in organizational structure, improving customer service, sales productivity at branch level through a series of focused initiatives, improving efficiency in business operations, improving turnaround time (TAT) in our key product & services offerings, centralization of credit processing of Retail and MSME, centralization and digitized work flow of rural lending, empowering employees and improving engagement etc. The aim now is to build a ‘next-generation digitally-enabled Universal Bank known for responsive, responsible and inclusive banking through customer centric business models and significant investment in employee development. The bank also wants to bring in information technology enabled structural changes through verticalization of sales, centralization of credit, specialization in recovery and digitization.
