The National Payments Corporation (NPCI) is proposing to implement a mobile device management solution so that it can introduce BOYD without compromising the security standards. NPCI wants to have a solution that ensures its data and applications on mobile devices (personal/ corporate) are secure and at the same time restrict the confidential data accessing from unauthorized mobile devices. The system would ensure segregation between user personal data and NPCI data. The required hardware for the solution would be provided by NPCI. It is looking for a service provider, who can undertake customization and deployment of the system, ensuring optimal use of the existing network infrastructure and setting up of proper parameters/configuration, besides setting policies/procedures.
