Moto3
THIS WAS ANOTHER CLOSE
encounter, with 19 riders in the lead pack. The first three finishers were separated by 0.069 seconds, while the top 10 were covered by 1.7 seconds.
South African Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM) was once again the star of the show. The winner of the two previous GPs rode a canny race, but the racing was so close that he was sixth at the start of the final lap. He grabbed the lead at Turn One for the last time and just held his advantage over 17-year-old rookie Fabio Di Giannantonio (Gresini Honda), with Francesco Bagnaia (Mahindra) just behind.
Niccolo Antonelli (Ongetta-Rivacold Honda) fought his way through from 21st on the grid to finish fourth, six thousandths of a second off the podium.
